Words cannot even describe what an amazing trainer Michael is. He takes a genuine interest in his clients’ goals and lives. He is completely committed to helping people seek a healthier lifestyle and walks the walk in his own life.

As a former athlete I always felt that trainers were for people that had never stepped foot in a gym and am the first to see through substandard “fitness professionals” who are just going through the motions. After years of falling into bad habits and dealing with a chronic knee problem and recent shoulder injury, I found myself in the worst shape of my life. Michael worked with me on addressing nutritional and lifestyle issues in addition to physical training.

He has a great working knowledge of fitness and physiology and exudes a phenomenally positive attitude and was able to push me to obtain my goals despite these injuries. Working together I lost 60 pounds and he continues to inspire me when working out on my own. I would not hesitate for a second to recommend training with Michael.

After unsuccessful knee surgery, the doctors told me I was a candidate for replacement. They told me that physical therapy would probably slow the degeneration. When I began training with Michael Hildebrand, I had exhausted all the PT available from my insurance with little effect.

Under Michael's direction I'm well on my way to recovering much, if not all, the function I lost from injury and surgery. I expect to be back to the dojo training my martial art in a few months and skiing later this year.

Michael is as knowledgeable about biomechanics as any physical therapist I've encountered. His attention to my injury has been a confidence builder. He wrings every drop of sweat out of my workouts with his positive coaching style. He has been great at explaining the why's and where fore’s of the exercises and is a stickler for posture and alignment. He is not only helping me through the recovery process but he's giving me the knowledge to continue training on my own.

Michael provides a great blend of encouragement and accountability—just what you need to sustain your progress. I heartily recommend him as a trainer.

I used to wonder how I could ever afford a personal trainer, now I wonder how I could ever afford to be without one! :) (Michael, of course!)

I started training with Michael after my 3rd son was born (2 years ago!) Honestly I had been overweight BEFORE having kids so baby weight was not a good excuse for being out of shape... but working out with Michael finally held me accountable to someone. Sure, friends and family are always around to support but having a personal health advocate is the way to go! Michael has directed me toward a healthier lifestyle in general including exercise and diet. But he is also a friend: intelligent, thoughtful, well travelled, and just an all around good guy.

I'm no super-duper 100 pound weight loss story... I'm down a more modest, but real, 25 pounds... but I've also learned from Michael that the pounds don't really matter. It's how I feel and at 35 years old, I feel better, healthier, and happier with myself than I have EVER! Thanks, Michael!
